5 Sign Language
Hands That Speak was a sign language workshop organized to promote inclusive communication and raise awareness about the deaf and hard-of-hearing community. The activity included lecturers from the Salalah Association for People with Disabilities, together with a team from the deaf and mute community and the team of the “We Meet with Signs” group. Participants were introduced to basic sign language skills in an interactive and engaging setting, encouraging communication beyond spoken words. The workshop also provided an opportunity for students and staff to connect socially, learn from real experiences, and appreciate the importance of accessibility and inclusion.
